Kew Gardens

I first visited Kew Gardens about 30 years ago. Entrance cost next to nothing then. Today it was £13 (including gift aid) and well worth it.

Sarracenia. Lovely meat eaters!

Flowering Sarrecenia. Never seen that before. The insects that pollinate these flowers might end up as food also?

Drosera longifolia. I first met the sundews in 1969 as an 'A' Level Biology student.

Not sure what these are. Some kind of Tulip?

Orchid.

Another orchid.

An Azalea, I think.

The Japanese Garden.

I visited KG but at a poor time of the year. I think it was September. Everywhere we went we saw signs saying that in the Spring or Summer there would be something spectacular here. :-) It was still a fun visit.
